A stylish three-storey town house built by Tobias Bachop of Alloa 1705-7. The NE built tower is topped by a prominent fleche and the opposite end-wall has carved panels and an external forestair with an attractive wrought-iron balustrade. Quoted from Canmore.

Well, if someone told me they were going to erect that, whatever it is, in front of the tower, I would be horrified! I'm not sure what I think of it really. What exactly is it Joe and what do you think of it? Cheers, Rosa.

It looks like they use this as a stage for public events, Rosa. It does detract somewhat from the beauty of the building.Cheers, Joe
