. . Recipe . . . . . . . . . . . . . Made one small bread. As usually omitted the sugar and replaced the egg whites for 50/50 water milk. Dropped the dough in a large pot filled with cold water and after 20 minutes the dough ball floated to the surface. It wasn't easy to shape and to get that very wet dough into the pan properly, (but hey.....I still have a clean towel :-)) It had a good (oven) rise and still smells wonderful! Thanks Elle for the recipe!

...... ABC March 2014 and Recipe . . . . . . . . . . Warned by all the other ABC bakers about the huge amount of dough in terms of quantity for the crust therefor more or less followed Sunita's and Karen's recipes. Jessica and Zosia made me also bake one whole tart. Added a lot of vegetables (mushrooms zucchini onion leek carrot and selery) Used Dutch cheese instead of cheddar and also added some creamcheese in the filling.

Kerststress ....nee geen last van ......wel oudejaarsstress vanwege oliebollen!!! Ieder jaar bak ik "gewone Hollandse oliebollen" en daarnaast nog wat bijzondere (ander recept met andere ingrediënten), maar één soort oliebol van een van die bijzondere is in de jaren zeer populair geworden hier en wordt ieder jaar om gevraagd......maar nu willen sommige liefhebbers ook het recept!!..... Oeps!!!! ....dat heb ik niet! (Hoewel ik zeker denk te weten dat ik het oorspronkelijke recept via Caspar en Koffietijd heb verkregen kon ik het recept een jaar later helaas al niet meer terug vinden op internet. Vandaar dit jaar het proefbakken ruim op tijd!! :-)

Afgelopen dagen veel gefröbeld met deeg (tot kerstboompjes), hoewel we dit jaar (voor het eerst) niet eens een echte kerstboom in huis hebben! :-)

Ommitted the carrot juice and also replaced the wheat flour for a mixture of (whole wheat) rye flour, whole wheat spelt flour and........*sigh* forgot the topping. Like Jan slashed the dough with scissors. Loved the bread and recipe! Thanks Heather for this great BBB's Recipe and Round up !.
