As soon as I get the right ingredients her in the US.

Unfortunately, American women don't like to bake from scratch (other than cornbread, and the rolls they call biscuits), so all you can get is ready mixes. And only bleached white flour or cornmeal ...

Heb eens een zak gekregen van mijn buurvrouw Amerikaans meel van King Arthur Amerikaanse meelsoorten hebben een veel hoger protein level als Europese soorten. Door dat hoge gehalte gaat bakken gemakkelijker.

King Arthur is erg bekend (en volg ik al jaren voor de ontwikkelingen en recepten en zo) maar er zijn er nog veel meer ..... hier 2 andere bekende:

I even found some King Arthur books on Amazon yesterday. And I was surprised how many products there are - mixes for bread machines and such. I had no idea, because you just don't find the stuff in the supermarkets here.

Yes I have a few King Arthur books:
King Arthur..King Arthur Whole Grain  Baking..Brinna Sands
but one of my best books (I think) about bread baking is Hamelman's "Bread" Jeffrey Hamelman (He is working for King Arthur)
