drinking calms the nerves for driving and helps get into the driving groove especially if you do other things and crank up the tunes. Used to be when I learned how to drive, the first place we went was the liquor store, but then a lot of people started killing people when they were drunk and it got strict, I kept losing my license, now I never drive when I've had anything to drink, but always have a camera. Probably be better to have a driver for what I am doing. Some of my freinds got killed by some fat guy who had a heart attack, so eating and driving kills too, Cell phones are worse, camera phones might be better if they contain a breathalizer. But in the day everyone drank and drove, it was comforting, people were less high strung and there wasn't a big stigma, it's the few who wreck it for the many always.
