Lovely photo of this beautiful mushroom. It does not have the characteristics of a Coprinus ( Thia Ink mushroom). It appears to be a Hemipholiota sp. Here in Canada it is H. populnea. I would also check out Pholiota sp. as well.

much thanks Ken for your informative dialog of this mushroom ,this one I found it in Sukhotai Thailand in a dead tree which was strangulated by a stranglerfigtree
