Girona at Night

29 Oct 2011 77
The steep pedestrian street just below our hotel. The door to the hotel is immediately to the right. Not a bad location.

A covered alleyway just below our hotel. I think it actually crossed under the part of the hotel in which we stayed the first night in Girona.

Borderline

29 Oct 2011 58
Note the sharp line between either two adjacent parcels of property or the French/Andorran border.

In the Car

29 Oct 2011 65
An abortive attempt due to weaving through the mountains (couldn't get Ted in the shot). But it does show the very convenient ski rack built into the cieling of the Berlingo, which was perfect for storing our swords (bought the second day) for the rest of the trip. This is also the last time you'll see those sunglasses intact .

Andorran Pyrenees

29 Oct 2011 50
On the drive up to Pas de la Casa

...that we made it to Andorra.

Landing Craft

29 Oct 2011 97
Well, how else would you have expected Andorrans to get there?

Moon Buggy

29 Oct 2011 63
We found it somehow appropriate that we would come across this in a country whose name has Star Trek overtones. It appeared to be a vehicle for carrying a band around (there were assorted musical instruments on the back of it). It's amusing to consider how much grief they would get from NASA were this done in the U.S..
