Just off the Ring Road, but invisible from the bridge.
The people on the left were surprised that I'd packed a tripod with me. My entire packout for this trip would have blown their minds, had they seen it.

In 2010 there was a bumper crop of marshmallows. This time, the Icelanders appeared to have diversified their crops to include giant licorice.

The bus into Thorsmork stopped for a few minutes opposite Gigjökull glacier. Or what's left of it after the 2010 eruptions, and the scar it left behind.
Passed it in July 2010, just after the eruption, and the canyon was still cloudy with airborne dust and visibly torn up. Looks completely different than what I remember.
