In 2010 there was a bumper crop of marshmallows. This time, the Icelanders appeared to have diversified their crops to include giant licorice.

The bus into Thorsmork stopped for a few minutes opposite Gigjökull glacier. Or what's left of it after the 2010 eruptions, and the scar it left behind. Passed it in July 2010, just after the eruption, and the canyon was still cloudy with airborne dust and visibly torn up. Looks completely different than what I remember.
