Photographed the Gay Pride Parade today - always a lot of fun, action, color and controversy.

I try to attend PRIDE events in support of a friend I owe a lot to.

Way back when, a buddy named Sam Evans befriended me, in spite of my red neck and ignorance. We lost him to AIDS back in 1988 - but I will never forget his friendship and the life lessons he taught me.
