Eastern Phoebe Nest with Five Eggs

These eggs are from the phoebes' second clutch of the year. This nest is on the turn of a downspout right next to my garage door. The phoebes seem unperturbed by the frequent noise and traffic passing underneath every day because they used the same nest last year. I saw five fledglings in the first clutch so the phoebes have been busy birds. Etowah County, Alabama (DSC05731)

This phoebe is incubating the pairs' second clutch of the year. The nest is on the turn of a downspout right next to my garage door. The phoebes seem unperturbed by the frequent noise and traffic passing underneath every day because they used the same nest last year.
