The scene at Gatwick Airport after we had evacuated the aircraft because of a strange smell which needed to be identified before it was considered safe to fly. Back in the departure lounge all the passengers and their hand baggage were searched by a security team. The source of the smell was discovered to be a man who had poured TCP on his trousers resulting in a three hour delay to our flight to Porto.
