Andersgrotta

An underground bunker which sheltered the inhabitants of Kirkenes during air raids and bombardment in World War 2. Kirkenes is said to be second only to Malta in terms of the quantity and intensity of air raids. Only thirteen houses still stood at the end of the war. The bunker is open to the public at set times.
