Septembre 2013, dans le magnifique parc-nature de l'Ile Bizard, il y un héron qui aime beaucoup se promener sur la grande passerelle au-dessus du marais et il se laisse approcher facilement. Ce jour-là, il y a trois charmantes jeunes femmes qui viennent sur la passerelle pour faire des photos de l'une d'entre elles. J'y étais avec un ami photographe. On s'approche et je leur raconte qu'il y a quelquefois un héron qui s'installe sur la rampe et qu'il leur serait possible de se faire photographier avec lui, et que c'est dommage qu'il soit absent à ce moment-là. À peine ai-je dis cela, voici notre héron qui apparaît majestueusement en vol derrière les jeunes femmes et qui va se poser sur la rampe comme d'habitude. Est-ce qu'il m'a entendu? J'aime à le penser. Les jeunes femmes s'approchent lentement et nos deux modèles prennent la pose. Je n'ai pas pu résister pour immortaliser une si charmante rencontre. Merci aux charmantes demoiselles pour leur collaboration et surtout merci au héron qui ne m’a pas fait passer pour un menteur. En fait, si le héron aime se poser sur cette rampe, c'est qu'il a une excellente raison de le faire, autre que de rencontrer de jolies filles, mais çà c'est une autre histoire.......

this is where the swallow of the previous picture has its nest, under that roof. Bad idea because it will be disturbed a lot. The swallow was photographed on the grass just behind. That is how I discovered the nest.
