DOH ! - How to find...

the one "not so dry" spot in your cellar.

Take a pair of perfectly fine wooden speakers, put them into a carton box and put them into the cellar. Come back 9 years later and see the water damage.

The speakers probably still work just fine, but the bottom part of them is seriously mutilated and willingly soaked up any humidity present. So I can't sell these anymore...

DOH!

I might try building new boxes using CNC cut MDF - if I can get the tweeters out. The woofer is attached with bolts, but the two other speakers seem the be held in by glue :-(
