The nearest city to me Leicester is twinned with Krefeld, I've just been looking at Google images it looks a lot more impressive than Leicester

The connection between the 2 cities was textiles, Leicester was a textile town both in making garments and machinery especially circular knitting machines it's all gone now, I worked for a firm that made circular knitting machines
