This relief hung over the television in my grandparents' house throughout my childhood. My mother's office also had the same relief, so I would always wonder if there was some 2 for 1 sale in the 1960s when both places were decorated.

My family called the relief "The Romans" but when I went to college, I realized that they weren't Romans, but more likely Greeks or Trojans.

Today, the faux-gilding has started to fade and the relief now hangs in my aunt's garden.
