The Angel of the Waters by Daniel Chester French in the Public Garden in Boston, July 2011
This statue was created by Daniel Chester French as a memorial to Boston philanthropist, George Robert White. It was completed and dedicated in 1924. White gave over $5 million dollars to the city and $50,000 was given in order to create this monument. This statue can be found at the Arlington and Beacon Street intersection.
