Anthocercis angustifolia, Morialta CP

Anthocercis angustifolia, Morialta CP
2 Aug 2012. This relatively short-lived fire responsive shrub currently dominates the understorey of Sheoak (Allocasuarina verticillata) Low Woodland in extensive patches along the rocky slopes of the gorge in areas burnt in recent times, presumably as part of a control burn. I estimate that
the total number of plants would be be well over ten thousand.

The flowers emit a delicate rather unusual scent: - it would be interesting to know what pollinators they attract.
