The John Anderson mausoleum, Green Wood cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.
This is actually the back of the mausoleum. I took the photo as I was fascinated by the numbers of neoclassical tombs in the cemetery. John Anderson owned a tobacconist. He was accused of murdering his pretty shop assistant Mary Rogers but was never convicted. He died of pneumonia in Paris in 1881.
