Knebworth House from one of the three mounds in the gardens. Although these look like barrows, they are actually the spoil from excavating the sunken lawns in the 19th century.

I don't know what these flowers are but I liked the juxtaposition with the re-purposed figure in the background.

One of the dragons (?) from originally on the roof of the house. They had to be replaced due to erosion making them unsafe. I rather like its current location in the flower bed.

There are three mounds in the gardens of Knebworth House. Despite looking like prehistoric burial mounds they are in fact the spoil heaps from digging-out the sunken lawns in the 19th century.

The gardens at Knebworth have a large number of sculptures made from trees that have died in the gardens.

We walked over to the church (closed as always) and the mausoleum. This is the view across to the house.

I had to stitch three shifted images together to get this image without the railings getting in the way.

The Pentax ES was one of the few models of Pentax camera to have the logo on the case as well as the body.
