Extremaly good conditions made this possible. Visible (for me) only half an hour between trees and houses and at a low lattitude . I got this picture of M22..

a globular starcluster belonging to "our" galaxy, containing 100.000 stars. This starcluster is in Northen Germany hard to photograph, it is in July/august close to the horizon.In northern Italy the chances are a bit beter

at the time that most of the Perseide meteors were expected I was clouded out.
