Day #025 - The Mailbox
OK, I've puttet a postcard into a mailbox. It's remarkable that the only postcards I've put in a "hardware-mailbox" are bills payable to the water- or electric-company. The rest of my communication are taking face-to-face, via telephone or as email... Should I eventually write a letter to my grandma?
Hm. No. I've visit her next weekend...it's their bithday, would prefer the face-to-face- variant again. ;-)

Regular mail has suffered a decrease. Bills, notifications and postcards still use this option. If ever regular mail disappears, that will be the end of philately in the long term.

In der Tat. Die Post ist bei mir aber echt nur noch dafür da, Rechnungen zu bekommen. Das ist sicherlich nicht gut für das Image von Briefen, aber so sieht meine Realität leider aus. Und wenn ich Briefe bekomme, sind die ohne Briefmarken, sondern nur noch mit einer Maschine frankiert.
