Jupiter rising over Ganny Cove Arm

Jupiter rising over Ganny Cove Arm
Last night's view to the ESE as Jupiter was rising.

This was a thirty-second exposure and the wind was blowing hard.
Don't look too closely -- I corrected most of the stars all of which
showed streaks, but not all of them.

it may have been better to raise the ISO and cut the time to get the same exposure but star points than trails. Good shot in the blue hour.

Steve, thanks. I keep trying various techniques to get sky images I like. I have found that *very* high ISO (2000) is not effective as I start getting unevennesses in what should be even tones in the sky, and I don't like that! :) But, that said, I agree with you completely about shortening the shutter speed by increasing the ISO.
