A summer's evening in July 1987

A summer's evening in July 1987
We were relaxing in our backyard when friends came over, so wine was

in order. David was in his early thirties then. I saw him yesterday

and he doesn't look any different now, thirty years later.

I had trimmed out a lot of maple trees in the yard and thus that

wonderful woodpile. Maple sure burnt well. The boxy thing was for

starting plants early in the spring.

Kodak VPS 120 (Vericolor III, 160 speed) film. I think it was shot in my Flexo.

Good question! We used to drink a Bulgarian "bull's blood" a lot back then. It may have been that. I can't remember the name of it, but I can almost picture the label in my mind. . .
