Here's another picture from the four rolls of film I scanned this week

containing pictures I took at meetings of our local chapter of CAMRA,

the Campaign for Real Ale, in the 1980s. This picture was at a

"Taste-Off" competition held in a local hotel in November 1986.



My best pictures were when my flash failed to fire, as with this one.

The camera was my Minolta X370 and the film here was a Kodak 200-speed

film. I was using a Vivitar 2600 flash. The flash-shots are all

predictably sharp, but with really awful lighting! And colour, too.

Well . . . no casks. That was before casks became popular around here. Everything was conditioned in bottles back then.
