A long wait in Baeza - Antonio Machado
Antonio Machado (1875 - 1939) was a Spanish poet and one of the leading figures of the Spanish literary movement known as the Generation of '98. He lived in Baeza, Andalucia, where he is much commemorated, between 1912 and 1919. Towards the end of his life he experienced difficulties through being on the losing side of the Spanish Civil War.
