Saxon Defensive Lines at Hastings
Apparently the Saxons under the leadership of King Harold decided to fight from a position in front of the Abbey (which wasn't there at the time). The Abbey was later torn down in the reformation.
Garden Pavillion at Wrest Park
English Heritage claim this is the third most important Baroque building in the UK.
