Spiranthes laciniata (Lace-lipped Ladies'-tresses orchid)
About 10 years ago, I rescued three or four damaged Spiranthes laciniata orchids Lace-lipped Ladies'-tresses orchids from a road cut in southeast Georgia. They plants had been uprooted and run over by road grading equipment. I planted them in my front yard bog garden, but did not expect them to thrive. This year, two of them are in bloom.
