Isotria medeoloides (Small Whorled Pogonia orchid)

This morning, I saw some images of this orchid species that had been taken in Georgia, so I figured that the ones I know about must also be in bloom. I drove 2.5 hours to the site, and sure enough, I found a single plant in bloom. This particular population seems to be in decline, but that might just be the cycle that some orchid populations go through. This is a very, very rare orchid species, and I am happy to find even one in bloom.
