Neogriphoneura sordida (Lauxaniid fly)
I had taken a picture of this beautiful fly while I was at Broxton Rocks, Broxton, Coffee County, Georgia. It was sitting very still on an Epidendrum magnoliae orchid leaf. I didn't know what it was, but I knew that I had never seen a "golden" fly before then.
