Sculpture
Pisão.
Stuart Ian Frost’s work intent to enhance natural objects and the specific place where they are located. The artist studies the culture, the history and the environment of the site to create work that symbolize the impact felt by the forces of nature.
The starting point of this sculpture is a Eucalyptus Globulus or blue gum tree and exotic tree in Portugal, that dried up and died like many other species of trees, from lack of water thus, etched up into the surface of this 15-meter tree are hundreds of water droplets that continually fall in relationship to one another creating a unified network.
