“I finished school and did not continue to study because my parents had no possessions. I worked in various activities, from the countryside to the woods, but I always had a taste for the arts. At the age of 25, I went to the António Arroio Artistic Secondary School, in Lisbon, to learn ceramics. Afterwards, I did the internship and took other complementary courses at the Professional Training Center for the Ceramic Industry (CENCAL) in Caldas da Rainha. I ended up staying there. I set up my atelier in the ceramics museum, where I was for 10 years. I was a trainer in pottery and modeling”, he sums up to the “windward”.
