Burilda
Folder: Railway Locations and Infrastructure.
Burilda was a crossing loop near Werris Creek on the Mungindi line. It has been removed since these photos were taken in April 1993. In 2011 a new much longer Burilda loop was commissioned as part of a plan to increase capacity along the line.

The hut and mast are provided. Loco 8153 leads a train of hopper wagons south towards Werris Creek through Burilda crossing a ballast train with 3 48cl locos standing in the now removed loop. April 1994.
Edit: This loop has been reinstated and lengthened to manage increased coal loadings through here.
