Croydon Trains indicator board July 08

The manually operated display of stations which departing trains travel to. This was the standard display used on the Sydney suburban rail system prior to the digital era. The rectangles above the names previously contained a clock face which was set by station staff to the time of next departure. The station names are on square-section bars which roll to display other names or no name.
