Crossing the now redundant bridge over the Parramatta River at Meadowbank. This bridge can now be used by pedestrians. A new bridge exists to the right (West) of this one.

Just saw the title so November 1972 I guess. When did steam finish here?

Yes the photo was taken in November 72 and the last Govt normal revenue steam ran in March 1973 in NSW. Other state systems finished at different times.
