The high altar and the presbytery are bordered by an elegant balustrade (adorned with 4 beautiful bronze statues by Tiziano Aspetti, 1594). This solemn atmosphere is dominated by the masterpieces of Donatello (1448 and following), which together constitute the most famous work of art in the Church.
