Ciao. Gian

You may well be right, Giancarlo.
But with its flat face and beady eyes, it does look uncannily like the water voles we used to shoot (to my shame) on the banks of my great-grandfather's garden pond. The excuse was that the warrens they dug in the banks caused the pond edge to keep crumbling. I was only 12 and I haven't done it since; honest!

I know them Andy these animals are called "nutrie", and they are like big beaver but much more disgusting. They dig holes in the levees of rivers and causing it to collapse. This rat was a no longer (except for the tail) of 5 cm and therefore great damage to the banks I do not think to do.

Andy could be one of those animals, though I think their puppies are not so small. But I could be wrong.
