Rags knows that the sparrows will have alerted each other long before he gets into reach of them. Still he enjoys watching...

And yes, unfortunately cats kill birds, but mostly it is the weak or less smart ones that pay the price. In three years our cats have caught no more than three birds - this video shows why: Rags Birdwatching.
