Halsbandsittiche in Worms

Gesehen im Heylshofpark. Oben das Weibchen, unten ein Männchen.

Der Halsbandsittich ist in Deutschland ein Neozoon. Das eigentliche Verbreitungsgebiet ist das zentrale Afrika und Indien. Seit einiger Zeit breitet er sich aber längs des Rheins aus und wird immer weiter nördlich gesichtet, so seit einigen Jahren etwa in Münster.

HH-volker 2 ^club

Toll gesehen, so nah kommt man nicht leicht heran.
Vor 2 Wochen in Köln -auf dem Weg zur U-Bahn- flog ein ganzer
Schwarm solch grüner Exoten über meinen Kopf weg und verschwand in einem Park.
Konnte aber keinen wirklich erkennen bzw. die Art bestimmen.

Die breiten sich nicht nur aus, die sind mittlerweile durch das milde Klima in der Kölner Bucht eine Plage... Es gibt Stellen am Rheinufer da wag man es sich kaum noch unter den Bäumen herzulaufen, weil der Kopf und Kleidung bekleckert wird. Trotzdem ein schönes Foto!

Diese exotischen Vögel in "freier Wildbahn" zu sehen, ist schon ein seltener Anblick. Ich hatte vor einigen Jahren auf einem Campingplatz in Mainz das Glück. Anhand Deines Fotos weiß ich nun, dass es Halsbandsittiche waren.
