Gneiss erratic on Stoer Group at Druim na Claise 1
One of the many erratics of Lewisian Gneiss scattered all over the Stoer peninsula, left by the retreating ice sheets of the last glaciation. This one is perched on top of westerly dipping sandstones of the Stoer Group (late Precambrian, 1.2 billion years old).
