Pendine Sands from Dolwen Point
The 7 km straight stretch of Pendine Sands was famous in the 1920s for attempts on the world land speed record. Malcolm Campbell achieved a record speed of 174.22 mph in February 1927 in his car Bluebird.
I liked the perspective offered by the sands, sea and clouds on this fine September day.
