Ruins of Greyfriars, the Franciscan Priory at Dunwich, Suffolk
This is part of the ruins of Greyfriars, the Franciscan Priory at Dunwich, originally founded around 1228, but abandoned a hundred years later due to the advancing sea. It was rebuilt in its present position further inland, but continuing coastal erosion now means that some of the ruins are only a few yards from the cliff edge.
