Afternoon light on Lord's Wood, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire
Beautiful late afternoon spring sunshine illuminates Lord's Wood in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. This view is to the SSE from Seven Sisters Rocks: rocky tors high on the side of the incised meanders of the Wye Valley. This is only just in England; the woodland on the far side of the valley is in Wales.
