Callejón de un solo caño Lima

|
This"alley of one faucet" really has two faucets, but the principle is the same. It is in a yard with housing (flats) on both sides. At the end is the communal sink, in this case two people can do their washing at the same time.

A kind of spontaneous jam session , making music with guitar, "cajón" (box drum, Peruvian percussion wooden box) and singing, These alleys are called" callejón de un solo caño" (alley of only one faucet). I´ve added a photo taken much, much later, but also in an alley, and being newer, it has two faucets, and not only one.
