Black Canyon Gunnison inanity digression (# 0268)

The sort of behavior that makes me wonder how anyone can stay a park ranger... I forget which viewpoint this was, but there were multiple views, probably about 100’ feet apart. I had been at the view that is in this picture, and had noticed that at one of the other viewpoints there was a young man who had jumped up on a wall and was standing right at the edge, close to where he could fall off. It makes me anxious to see the potential of a fall, but it was difficult to not watch his inanity. He was somehow with this group but at the same time not with it – no one in the group spoke to him and they ignored his stupid acts. Probably about three times, at different locations, I saw him jump up on stones or walls where he was at a high edge with no barrier, and then just stand there. I guess he was aiming to impress the young women in the group, but it seemed they were ignoring him. Deciding I didn't want to watch a fall, I left the area looking for a ranger but, of course, did not find one.
