Hart Mountain, OR 1007a

The Hart Mountain natural hot springs. On my two visits there have been five or six tents in the area but only one or two visitors to the hot springs itself.

Since the structure style is similar to other CCC structures at Hart Mountain, I suspect that this enclosure was built by them as well. However, I couldn't find any documentation that it was.

Hart Mountain National Wildlife Refuge was created in 1936 to protect pronghorn antelope. I've been across it twice and seen only a couple of antelope, but the sheer emptiness and vastness of it makes it worth a visit.
