The Pyrenees from Luchon Superbagnères Ski Resort
We took the gondola ride from Bagnères-de-Luchon to the ski resort above it. The 1200m rise takes over 10 mins and gives amazing views. At the top the views continue to be amazing, though you may have to wait for clouds to blow through to see them!
Château de Peyrepertuse
This is one of the Cathar Castles in SW France.The photo was taken from the highest point in the castle - quite a hike up in the heat!
Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges
Photo taken from among the Roman remains below the town. Remains of Roman theatre also visible on slopes below cathedral.
Bagnères-de-Luchon
Taken from the ski resort high up above the town.

Only the lower part of the gondola ride is visible here - took us 12 minutes to go top to bottom!
