the love is very interior it is free
the desire is very external it is conditioned
the desire of the love is an external search.
the love of the desire is to overcome it to appease it……perhap's..
feelin. :-))

... or as Coleridge would have it ... to translate the inside love to the outside desire.

... to satisfy it ... again and again ... perhaps? :)))

I am not entirely convinced by this dichotomy (as with so many others!!!) ... seems to me that the most difficult love of all is that inner love ... which we all desire ... external desire is not only easy, it's ... constant craving ... the yearning that propels us forward through life ... to experience, to share, to enjoy ... minerals, plants, animals, people, ideas etc etc ... for me then no overcoming or appeasing just celebration, enjoyment, learning, experiencing ... looking at the many facets of this jewel-like being. Diamond mask, crystalline interior. Love along the lattice lines!

yes, my desire not me longer run, I learned to love my desire without being able to meet, I learned to be satisfied with my reality without pursuing the dream ever more distant. in the present time is my love.
but what we are talking .. the desire to live, the pulse of life, the thirst for knowledge and freedom, it is much more .. aspiration is this desire?
can you choose?

aspects of one and the same thing maybe ... I choose not to be ruled by my desire ... chose that a long, long time ago. But to follow it, when it calls me ... yes, I choose that also ... :)

Of course, the yin and yang are in constant motion ... the one becoming the other and vice versa ... Hegelian dialectic ... spiral dancing into the future ... the awesome beauty of it all ... and then there is Heisenberg and Schrodinger, not to mention Heidegger and 'home', 'dwelling' and other existential phenomena.

Aspiration or desire ... the one lives in the heart and the other lives in the mind ... I know which I would choose!
