  • Treecreeper varying its usual insect diet with peanuts!
  • In size, somewhere between a field mouse and a wren, treecreepers look a little like mice scuttling up trees systematically from base of trunk to treetop, searching crevices for insects.

  • Long-tailed Tits, like fluffy ping-pong balls with long tails, feed together in closely-knit family groups. This family lives amongst the hawthorn hedging and the hazel copse.
