Heath Robinson Lighting Kit in action!

Heath Robinson Lighting Kit in action!
The box manufacture I covered a few weeks ago. The lighting, which arrived today, is by Expro, their mini L200 15 LED Continuous Daylight Lighting Kit for photographic Cubes (aka Lightboxes). The pair of lights cost £34 in total, which I found on Amazon, and seems to do the business as required.

I went into a printshop in Inverness, near the BMW outlet a couple of weeks back, and the supplied me with a huge chunk of Matt white vinyl, about 1.5 metres x 1.5 metres. When I have figured out how to make it with that stuff, I'll let you know, but. In fact I think it would work perfectly well in a gentle curve between floor and wall, with the object sitting on it, and the lights at the side, rather than using it in a box shape. It's a pity I hadn't this kit when I was doing all the detailed imagery for The Highlanders' Museum, at Fort George...
Here is first attempt at using the full sheet

I have just had an impulse buy - an 80cms photo studio light cube box with four different coloured backdrops, which all folds up into a small package. This cardboard contraption is fine for the house, but if I am doing anything else at the museum for them, it will be better to have something more portable.
