Westward evening skies
While the sun is still bright in the sky, instead of using ND graduated filters, sometimes I shut down the aperture, and increase the speed, to produce an underexposed image which leaves the foreground almost black, but provides a silhouette horizon, and darkens the clouds. As there was no great colour yet in this particular sky, I converted it to B&W to assess the effect....
